Welcome OPHS Class of 2019
On Thursday, April 23,  Osbourn Park will host a Freshman and New Student Open House from 7:00- 8:30 pm. There will be an optional welcome from the principal at 6:45 in the auditorium. Starting at 7:00 pm parents/guardians and students can meet with department representatives, athletic coaches, and activity sponsors in the gym.  Break out information sessions will start at 7:15. Tours and refreshments will be offered throughout the evening.  Also, OP Spirit Wear will be available for purchase. Hope to see you there.
OPDOT-T Best Buddies Presents "Life in Color"

A Celebration of Friendship and Family, April 25, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  The event will start with a Buddy Run held on the OPHS Track, followed by a "Buddy After Party" on the Driver's Ed Lot featuring performances by the OP Destiny Step Team and the Bhangra Dance Group.  The cost to participate in the Run or to Sponsor someone is $10 for one mile $12 for two miles, and $15 for three miles.  Proceeds will go to securing transportation for our students to stay after school one day a month to meet with their "OPDOT-T Best Buddy".  For more information, contact Mrs. Lydia Stewart at stewarll@pwcs.edu
Key Club Sponsors Inova Blood Drive

The final Key Club and Inova blood drive of the year will be held on Wednesday, April 29 in 2063 (2A).  If you'd like to donate, please contact Mrs. Beardsley.  We need parent volunteers to check students in and verify IDs from 7:30 a.m to 2:10 p.m.  Shifts are fine.  Please contact Mrs. L. Beardsley at beardslw@pwcs.edu
Prom 2015

Juniors and Seniors.... are you getting ready for prom?!  This year is guaranteed to be a prom not to miss.  We have an awesome new DJ and MC coming to ensure this is a night not to forget.  In addition we will have a chocolate fountain, photo booth and so much more.  Don't worry - you don't need a date to attend!  Just come with your friends and enjoy the evening. 
Ticket Information: Tickets will be on sale BEFORE school, by the main entrance from 7:00-7:24 on the following dates.  Tues 4/21, Wed 4/22, Thurs 4/23, Tues 4/28, Wed 4/29, and Thurs 4/30.  Tickets may also be purchased AFTER school in room 3011 (until 2:45) on the  Tues 4/28 and Wed 4/29.
Students may pay with CASH or a check made out to Osbourn Park High School.  Online ordering will begin on Tuesday 4/28 and close on Saturday 5/2 at 3:00 PM.
IF YOU ARE BRINGING A DATE THAT DOES NOT ATTEND OP - you MUST fill out a permission slip and hand it in when purchasing your ticket.  No exceptions.  Click here to download and print a permission slips or pick one up at Ms. Hackett's desk in the main office..  If you are ordering your tickets online, then please drop the permission slip off to Mrs. Seligman in room 3011.  I MUST have the permission slip before May 2.  The cost of the couple ticket is reflected by the age of the  student attending OP.  (If the OP student is a junior, you pay $85.  If the OP student is a senior, you pay $75.

Osbourn Park Fundraising

Please check out our new Fundraising link on the left.  All ongoing fundraisers will be posted here, please check back often.  We appreciate the support of our faculty, staff, students, and community.
PWCS Office 365

Check out our PWCS Office 365 link on the left.  Microsoft Office 365 is a cloud-based communication and collaboration tool, hosted by Microsoft and managed by PWCS.  Office 365 will provide the ability for PWCS students (grades 3-12), faculty and staff to email, store files and collaborate on documents, spreadsheets, and presentations in real time from school, work, or home, all within a secure online environment.   All OP freshman and sophomore students received their accounts and training through their English classes.  Our Leadership students will be available to assist all juniors and seniors after school in the Library on Wednesday, October 22 and Thursday October 23.   Student directions have been posted under the PWCS Office 365 link.

Activity Bus Schedule - UPDATE

In preparation for AP and SOL testing, OP's Activity Buses will run weekly each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, beginning Tuesday, April 14 through Thursday, May 21.  After May 21 activity buses will return to the Tuesday/Thursday schedule..   All buses leave OP at 4:40 p.m.  Click here to view the new routes for the 2014 - 2015 school year.
Bus Conduct and Schedules
As we begin a new school year, all students should remember that riding the school bus is a privilege. We expect that students will maintain excellent conduct in line with the Prince William County Schools Code of Behavior both in school and on the school busses. We look forward to welcoming all students back for a great school year
